Wale – The Crazy

The percussion is really innovative. Sort of tribal, half-syncopated, and stop-start. Works well with the bass line. There are some nice strings and a walking xylophone line to accompany them. Apparently, the artist knows people think he’s innovative with the beats:

And WALE KILLS IT ON THE MIC! Makin’ other rappers in the game look like fools!
I seriously want to meet the man (or woman) who made this beat. Phenomenal.
