Seattle DOES have good looking, fashionable people
People always joke about how unstylish and casual Seattleites tend to be, what with their stand-bys of Birkenstocks worn with socks paired with any old fleece from the local REI. As evidenced by the following photo, there are denizens of this fine city who do care about what they wear:

My First Look On Lookbook
I’ve finally taken the plunge and started posting my best looks on Lookbook:
Be prepared for a lot of new stuff ahead…
Porcelain Dolls
These PNB danseuses look like porcelain dolls that are about to fall over and break into pieces:

PNB dancers Margaret Mullin, Kaori Nakamura, and Laura Gilbreath rehearsing Jiri Kylian’s Petite Mort. Photo by Bill Mohn.
Director’s Choice runs from November 5th-15th at McCaw Hall.
Breakfast at Volunteer Park Café
(You can click on individual photos to enlarge):
This delightful creation is a strata (a cousin of quiche) filled with mushrooms and ham. I think it had some sweet cream/milk added to the egg mixture, adding just enough flavor and depth to make it unique, but not to overpower the senses (or the other flavors).
Coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters (some of the best brew in town).

Pike Place Market at Sunset

It was a very hot day (80+ degrees Fahrenheit), and the clouds rushed in late in the evening, adding some much needed color to the sunset.
Stunning.

Memorial Day
On the holiday formerly known as Decoration Day, we remember men and women who have died in military service.

Wakeboarding Venice
I’ve been in Piazza San Marco when it was flooded. Those damn tourists stand on the elevated walkways and take pictures and always get in your way. Just accidentally push them off into the square. It’ll be an experience they never forget!
Recent happenings in Piazza San Marco:
The Piazza San Marco Wakeboard Invitational (the first held since 1541):

Breakfast
My ‘ma was able to procure some wild Gypsy Mushrooms. They were delightfully aromatic when mixed with sauteed onions over my morning eggs.
